A: We are located in Mayfield, KY, just off Highway 45 North. Visit us at our brand-new studio space for a tour or during classes!
Q: What age groups do you offer classes for?
A: We have classes for children as young as 18 months (Parent & Me) through teens and adults. There’s something for everyone at Studio A!
Q: Do I need prior dance experience to join a class?
A: Not at all! We offer classes for all skill levels, from beginner to advanced. Our teachers will ensure your dancer feels comfortable and supported.
Class & Registration Questions
Q: How do I register for classes?
A: Registration is easy! Visit our registration page or stop by the studio to sign up. You can also contact us directly if you have any questions.
Q: What should my dancer wear to class?
A: Each class has specific attire requirements. If it is your first time, please just wear athletic clothes to dance in!
Q: Can my dancer try a class before committing?
A: Absolutely! We offer trial classes so your dancer can find the perfect fit before enrolling.
Q: How do payments work?
A: Tuition is billed monthly and auto drafted with the card on file on the 1st. Payment is due by the 5th of each month to prevent late fees. We accept various payment methods, including online options for convenience.
Competitive Team Questions
Q: How can my dancer join the competitive team?
A: Dancers are selected for our competitive team based on summer auditions or teacher recommendations. If your dancer is interested, let us know so we can provide more information.
Q: What’s the time commitment for competitive team members?
A: Competitive team dancers typically take at least 3 classes per week and attend competitions and conventions during the season.
Recital & Performance Questions
Q: When is the next recital?
A: Our recitals are held twice a year: a Winter Recital in December and an End-of-Year Recital in May. Specific dates and details can be found on our Events Page.
Q: Are costumes provided for recitals?
A: Costumes are ordered through Studio A and are an additional fee. We’ll share details about costumes, fittings, and deadlines closer to the recital date.
Miscellaneous Questions
Q: Can parents watch classes?
A: Yes! Our lobby features a live feed from the studio so parents can enjoy watching without disrupting class.
Q: Do you offer private lessons?
A: Yes! Private lessons are available for dancers who want one-on-one coaching. Contact us to schedule a session.
